My SO got a new job earlier this year that was both too good to pass up and *very* out of state, so we boxed things up and made the move. Things have been going well and it's looking like we might be staying here long-term, but that also means I've been job-hunting and trying to pick up odd jobs/freelance work while I look for something in my IT support and administrative wheelhouse. I would absolutely love to be able to write full time, but that's not really doable for the time being with student debt and other Big Kid(™) responsibilities requiring this much attention.
Despite all this, I plan to keep plugging away at outlining the broader strokes of the complete RW story, fleshing it out in progressively greater detail, and then eventually starting to write in earnest again. There's no set timetable here, but I'd really like to see if I can develop a supplemental income stream during 2018 from some combination of freelance work and other, unrelated writing efforts. It remains to be seen how productive those side projects will be, but in the short-to-medium term the goal is entirely mercenary: to bring in more income so that I can help to cover essentials, replenish our savings, and eventually finance the time off I'd like to take to really dig in on my RW writing.
That's all for now. Orbital HQ, out.

Hello there, would-be commenter!
Welcome to my humble corner of the internet, such as it is. Please be respectful when posting here. Full stop. All comments are currently sent to moderation, so expect at least a short delay before your contribution makes landfall.
To be clear here: I welcome commentary of virtually all kinds — whether critical or otherwise — but this site is intended to be a safe space, and anything resembling spam, hate speech, or ad hominem attacks are unwelcome and will be interred in the Phantom Zone of moderation and subject to summary deletion. In short, please be nice, because I won’t ask twice.
